zero sum sometimes applies - more than you'd like to think

People often ask what motivated me to leave a cushy corporate job and jump into the startup’s mud pit, and how it feels now that I’ve done it. Honestly, I ask myself the same question almost every day. There are the obvious reasons: curiosity, autonomy, upside, and a mild allergy to authority.

A look at the trade offs of small companies and large. There really is no perfect company in my experience.
